  • Time for the Shox to ride the Tulane Green Wave

The Shox face a big series this weekend against the Tulane Green Wave.

Tulane stuck it to the Shox last year. Time to get some revenge.

Tulane is 10-3 this year (current rpi is 80- but it is still kind of early to put too much stock into the rpi). Tulane did take 2 out of 3 games from Alabama last week.

Tulane's other two losses are against LSU and La-Monroe (rpi 42).

Although the Shox did lose 2 of 3 at Tulane last year, all three games were one run games.

It should be a good series this weekend.

Tulane's last game before heading up to Wichita was the loss at LSU. Their previous 3 games were the series against Bama in which Tulane won 2 out of 3 games.

They are averaging 5.9 runs per game but giving up an average of 4.0 runs a game. Their team batting average is .321 (one of the best in the nation) and their team ERA is 3.49.

Brennan Middleton has their best batting average at .488 including 4 doubles, 10 rbis and he has scored 14 runs.

Please schedule Tulane for the St Paddy's weekend every year in perpetuity.

          a-frickin-men!
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'
