Something must be done about the leadoff hitter. That guy is supposed to get on base and set the table for the big sticks. Consistently strikeing out and < .200BA is beyond unacceptable. Don't say "It's early." or whatever. Leadoff has been a persistent problem for a long while. Time for drastic measures.

The pitching has been decent so far. They have a lot of innings vs. poor to middling competition, so when they start playing some better teams it will be interesting to see how they hold up. They have been doing their part, but the offense and defense are an embarrassment

Suggestion: Bayliff leading off, move Hall to the nine hole. He is healthy now and while not Hall's speed, is plenty fast. More importantly, he is on base.

It does look like they have come to the realization that Hall has not cut it and have moved Baylif to the lead off spot. Frankly I would move hall to the 7th spot. That is almost like secondary lead off spot

Will Mucha get a shot of starting in CF with Hall coming in only as late defensive replacement?

If Mucha can hit a D1 curveball get him in there and let Hall sit.

Tells you how far our standards have fallen when we consider a guy that hits .294 over 4 games one of our shining stars.

You don't know until they get enough time. I guess thats my point, are they going to give somebody else a shot at starting CF position.
