It makes the whole thing look complete and actually makes each phase look like an integrated construction. Driving by on 21st street you can't appreciate how great it looks until you stand in the parking lot even with the north end of the seats and look at it all. By the way the view is great from inside the stadium as well. Go Shox
    Re: the netting ...

Sitting higher up and closer to the dugout helps the view. One problem Friday was the sun shining on the netting and the batters box in the shade. Those views will be better at night and when the sun starts to get higher. As long as we are chasing the sunny seats, it will be annoying.

The netting wrecked our view and we moved to the back of box 10. Reality is, though, that it was needed for safety reasons. I'm not sure if they installed the best product but it is there so we deal with it.

The snow under the seats did not help the comfort level on Friday.

It's gonna take time, folks. Get on board and enjoy the ride/rise. It's worth noting that we're not starting at zero on addressing fundamentals with most of the roster. We're starting at negative 10. Old habits are hard to break.

Can't believe that they did not give Sigrist an error on the double play ball he misplayed in the 4th. It was sharply hit but he was in position and got a nice clean hop.

Great 2-out at bat by Cade Clemons who was hitting .125 as he launched a 2-run homer to straight away center to tie the game. Maybe that will get him going a little bit.

Liam not as sharp as he was last weekend but grinding through it. Jacob Katzfey ties a record with 3 unassisted put outs at 1st base in the 5th.

Juco transfer from Coffeyville, Aaron Bechtel, is on in relief to start the 6th inning in his 1st appearance as a Shocker.

Bechtel faced the minimum but wasn't real sharp as he went to full counts on all 3 batters. A walk, a shallow fly to right and a strike 'em out, throw 'em out double play got him through the inning.

Shocks take the lead in the 6th on a lead off walk to Ross Cadena, and following a Hunter Gibson strikeout, a line drive opposite field triple into the right field corner by Couper Cornblum. Unfortunately, strike outs by Garrett Kocis and Cade Clemons in two very weak at bats left Couper stranded.

Aaron Bechtel was much sharper in the 7th working a quick 10 pitch 1-2-3 inning.

Kocis has to get him home there.

                      Much better 7th for Bechtel.

Could use a little insurance here after a Shaver leadoff double.

Something we rarely saw the last few years: double, sac bunt, sac fly and we get an insurance run.

Shocks do a much better job of moving a runner in the 7th. A lead off double by Derek Shaver, a line drive into the the right field corner similar to Cornblum's triple , and sac bunt by Jacob Katzfey gave the Shockers a runner on 3rd with 1 out again. This time Jack Sigrist delivered the run with a sac fly to right field.

Bechtel gets a quick ground out in the 8th but then walks the next batter and Connery Peters is on relief. Hope, he does better than he did last weekend in this position.

Horrible play by Alex Jackson. Air mails a through into right field and TSU has runners on 1st and 2nd. Just can't have that from a senior.

A 4-6-3 double play gets the Shocks of the field.

                              Good job by Connery.

Much better at bat there for Garrett Kocis. Shortened up his swing on a 0-2 count and delivered 2 big insurance runs. Shocks up 6-2.
