I never saw beer on the hill as a problem. I can’t think of one incident that involved a drunken fan with anyone or a player from the other team. Used to be a lot of good natured back and forth sometimes

Is the beer issue related to a problem, like drunken fights in the outfield, or can throwing at umps? I have a simple guide: What's the problem you're trying to fix, and does your solution fix the problem? I'm surprised at how often these questions aren't involved in decision making. Seems like a solution in search of a problem with beer...
Might as well gouge the last remaining fans that came to games is my theory.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Perhaps WSU baseball fans should attend the games, but no one buy a beer until the price is lowered to a reasonable level. Show their displeasure with their wallet until WSU does the right thing. It's the least they should do after not allowing fans to bring in beer on the outfield hill.
If the fans don't do this, it's just all bark and no bite. Basically, show you mean it or shut up. I love a good beer, but have refused to buy one at the basketball games because it's inexpensive beer at a gouging price. I like beer even more at a baseball game, but I'm not going to buy it. I can wait a few hours or have a beer before and after the game with my buds.
