Absolutely. That’s why you shouldn’t be surprised if it takes a while, if at all. Last year, media had to corner him into issuing a statement. He didn’t want to. He wanted to just ignore it then and of course gave some BS excuse.

A strong, competent AD would already be underway with the process with a lot of behind-the-scenes groundwork going on. Boatright probably is cleaning his carpets this weekend or something that important.

Shocks leave ‘em loaded in the 8th. Lindemann strikes out the side. On to the 9th.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Shocks take the lead on an error with the bases loaded, then Luke clears ‘em with a double. 7-3 with 2 down.

Do they hand out ribbons or trophies for making the conference tournament?

McGinness v ECU on Tuesday around noon sometime.

Nice finish by the Shocks, and they have at least beaten ECU once. So they have no reason to go in scared, and McGinness needs to step up again.

If the Shocks can get by ECU who knows what might happen. Outside of ECU none of the other AAC teams have been particularly impressive this year.

WSU is 9-15 against that unimpressive competition, 7-14 against those that are in the tournament.

That's true although the AAC is the 5th ranked conference in the country so perhaps the competition is more impressive than I give them credit for. Seemingly ECU is the heavy favorite to win this tournament although they don't really need to and ECU did manage to lose to the Shocks and to Memphis accounting for 2 of their 4 conference losses. Behind ECU no one else particularly stands out as the next best bet to win this tournament.

I understand what your driving at but I don't think anyone expects an announcement on HCTB before the end of the season for the Shocks. Realistically hard to see the Shocks winning more than 2 games in the tournament. In any case, HCTB's record is what it is and whatever the Shocks do in Clearwater will have little to no impact on that record. The lack of interest in Shocker baseball has fallen drastically. Hard to believe ADDB can trul believe HCTB is the best guy to reverse that at this point but I guess stranger things have happened. Plus it is hard to believe they could convince 40 former Shockers to pony up north of $400,000 to the program without assurances of some major changes in leadership of the program being made. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
