So Okie State is playing their final year at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. The Cowboys (meaning mostly T. Boone Pickens) are building a new $75 million facility.
Oklahoma Agricultural & Mechanical College (A&M) provided Allie Reynolds a scholarship to attend and participate in track.[ Reynolds also played on the football team. He majored in education and graduated with a lifetime certification to teach public school in Oklahoma.[3]Henry Iba, coach of the baseball team, first noticed Reynolds when he was practicing his javelin throws. Iba asked Reynolds to throw batting practice while his pitchers recovered from sore arms.[5] Without taking any warm up pitches, he struck out the first four batters without any making contact. Reynolds was the team's captain playing as an outfielder–pitcher during his senior year in 1938, and led the team to victory in the state conference baseball championship.

After Cal Carver hit the first batter he faced Jacob Lindemann was brought on in relief. He through 9 pitches, 8 of which were balls, including 4 straight to a 6-8 OSU batter, to load the bases with no outs. Clayton McGinness is in to try to limit the damage.
OSU tacks on 2 more. After 3 innings its Cowboys 5 - Shockers 1.
In the top of the 4th OSU reciprocates the charity received from the Shocks by giving up a single, followed by 3 consecutive walks to make it 5-2. OSU making a pitching change and faces the same situation as MCGinness did. Bases loaded and no outs.
Brady Slavens delivers a 2-run single to center. Cadena stops at 2nd. Still no outs. Shocks need to excecute now. Get these runners mover over. Alex Jackson strikes out and Jacob Katzfey flies out to right center moving Cadena to 3rd. Jodan Boyer grounds a 2-out single to center to score Cadena and tie the game at 5-5 goint into the bottom of the 4th.
In the bottom of the 4th a walk and home run put OSU back on top 7-5. The pitching has not been anything to write home about by either team.
Liam Eddy is on the mound to start the bottom of the 5th. Back-to-back singles and a sac fly but 2 runners in scoring position for OSU. A single to left on an 0-2 pitch plates 2 more runs for OSU and the extend their lead back to 4 runs at 9-5.
Shocks add a run in the top of 6th but with runners at 1st and 3rd Luke Ritter is thrown out at 2nd attempting to steal. Shocks trail 9-6 with OSU coming up in the bottom of the 6th. Connery Peters on the mount to start the bottom of the 6th as we have a Johnny Wholestaff thing going on here.
In the Shocker's 7th a single, walk, hit by pitch and a walk produce a run for the Shocks. Jacob Katzfey struck out with the bases loaded to end the inning. Aaron Haase is in to pitch the bottom of the 7th. A long drive to center is caught by Katzfey at the wall. That was followed by an OSU triple to right center. OSU gets that runner from 3rd home and at the end of 7 innings OSU leads 10-7.
I don't believe either team has been retired in order yet.
Alex Segal pitches the 8th for the Shocks. Jacob Katzfey with a nice diving catch in center for out number 1. After a 1-out single Alex strikes out the next to batters to closed out the 8th.
Shocks with their final chance coming up in the 9th. The Shocks can only manage to draw a 2-out walk in the 9th. Final Socre: OSU 10 -WSU.
OSU used 8 pitchers and the Shocks used 7 pitchers. Neither team managed to have a 1-2-3 inning. As Shane Dennis commented you won't be making a pitching video out of this one. 357 total pitches. A combined 17 free passes.
