The Black team picked up a 2nd win on Tuesday night.

A couple of youngsters who had not done much stepped up for the Black team:
Fr Tayler Doggett was 2-22 in the first five games played CF for the Black team. He went 3-4 and also reached in a HBP with 1 RBI, 2 SB and 3 RS. He also was busy defensively with 8 put outs.
Fr Tyler Baker, who had been playing for the Gold team, switched to 3B for the Black team last night. He had been 1-20 in the first five games for the Gold team. He was 3 for 3 plus a BB including a double and a triple and drove in 2 runs. He also pitched a scoreless 9th for the Black team although he did give up 2 hits.
RFr Kris Gardner continued to pitch well giving up only 1 unearned run on 3 hits over 5 innings while striking out 4 and walking only 1. The lanky lefty has given up only 2 runs (1 earned) in 15 innings of work in the FWS.
Derek Haas, who is not even on the Shockers roster at goShockers.com chipped in with 3 scoreless innings for the Black team although he did give up 4 BB. Derek has pitched 4 no-hit scoreless innings in the FWS.
Drew Rainey started for the Gold team and gave up 6 hits and 2 runs in 4 innings but he did have 8 K's vs only 1 BB. Drew has had a solid FWS giving up only 2 earned runs in 11 innings of work while striking out an impressive 18 batters vs 4 walks.
RHP Dillon Kerans, a redshirt freshman from Maize, doesn't appear to be quiite ready for prime time. He allowed 5 runs (4 earned in 3 innings). He allowed 4 hits, 4 BB and a HBP. He has given up 8 runs on 9 hits, 6 BB, 2 HBP while striking out 2.
TJ McGreevey got back into the groove with 2 hitless, scoreless innings for the Gold team.
Shocks committed 3 more errors (Gillaspie, Chadd and Green) to bring the total to 19 between the two teams over the 6 games.
Final game is Friday at 3:00 pm.
