  • BLACK WINS! BLACK WINS! BLACK WINS!

No sweep this year. Black comes back and wins game 4 by the score of 5-2.

Mitch Mormann pitched great for the Gold. Drew Rainey, Zac Berringer and TJ McGreevey pitched great for the Black.

Micah Green led the hitting for the Black, Casey Gillaspie and Kevin Hall continued their strong hitting for the Gold.

Kevin Hall robbed Sam Hall of a hit with one of his unbelievable catches and Tyler Baker made a great play at third, throwing Sam Hall out from his knees. A tough night for Sam Hall, he should have had 2 hits that were stolen from him by great defensive plays. Even so, Sam Hall still ended up going 1 for 4 with an rbi and he scored a run.

Srsly ... that play by Tyler Baker was the best I've seen by a Shocker 3B in a long time. Went to his left and laid out to snare a hard hit ball in the hole. Then to his knees for a strong throw across the diamond. You can hang a star on that baby.

Too bad he also wore the sombrero last night.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Drew Rainey is a guy that has thrown very well this fall.

In his two outings his line is:

      7.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 10 K's, 3 BB

      Pretty solid.

Zach Beringer 5 K's in 2.1 innings last night. Seems to throwing very hard. Can be very effective if he can command the strike zone.
