We've always known that Troutwine doesn't catch well, and that's a handicap -- but at some point the pitcher just has to get the damn third out. Heuer and WSU have had a problem with that all year (and beyond). I'm even willing to give him a pass on the ball Young should have caught (more wonderful Shocker defense in conference play). But he's still up 4-3 even after all the foolishness if he can just retire the side.
