UConn tries to steal a run, but the Shox execute and get the runner out between 1st and 2nd in time.

It's like somebody switched the execution switch before this game. So weird. We'll see if it holds up.

UConn runs themselves out of the inning with the hang up play, runner on 1st tagged out before the runner on 3rd could cross. We used to be so good at that play with Adam McCullough morphing into a sloth midway between 1st and 2nd back in the day.
