Houston and Tulane having a wild one this morning. Houton jumped out to a 7-0 lead after 3 at bats but Tulane scored 5 in the bottom of the 3rd to climb back into the game. 7-5 after 3.

Houston comes right back in the top of the 4th to score 9 runs to extend their lead to 16-5. Tulane must be out of pitching.

Despite 1st round wins by the 7th and 8th seeds the 4 teams remaining at this point are the Top 4 seeds. Houston, USF, UConn and ECU. I would expect these 4 teams will represent the AAC in the NCAA Tournament.

#1 Houston beat #4 ECU 5-3 and #2 USF clobbered #3 UConn 13-0 in a 7-inning run rule game this afternoon. That means all 4 teams remain alive each with 1 loss.

The teams will meet again tomorrow to determine who will play in the Championship game.

ECU has extended their lead to 12-1 after 6 innings. They ended the 6th with a GIDP with the bases loaded and 1 out.

UCONN has tied USF at 2 going to the 7th.

UConn scores in the 9th to walk off with a 3-2 win.

ECU vs UConn in the tournament championship game Saturday morning at 9:00 am CT.

ECU and UConn are both locks for the NCAA Tournamnt as is USF and most likely Houston. Houston's RPI is not outstanding but their regular season AAC Championship probably gets them in.

I don't think UCF will make it.
