  • Shockers at K-State (If The Weather Allows)

The Shockers (28-14, 5-10) head up to Manhattan on Wednesday to take on the nothing-to-lose K-State Wildcats (18-26, 3-15) at 6:30 pm if the weather cooperates. Right now looks like the best chances for rain are the 2 hours prior to game time with chances diminishing fro a few hours then picking back up again. I guess it would not be a disaster to lose this game to the weather since KSU has an RPI of 135 (thanks to playing in the Big 12). Of course, unless the Shocks can start playing much better on the weekends the game may not mean much either but you always want ot beat the in-state schools and the Shocks still have a chance to go undefeated agaisnt Big 12 teams this year for what that is worth.

I beleive Coach Steele, subbing for HCTB on the Monday radio show, said Preston Snavely would start but that he would like to get 3 innings out of Alex Segal as well.
