Maybe he wants to do his own thing, maybe he just liked it there better, might even been because of the coaches who knows. It's not auto that a former players kid is going to go to WSU. Doesn't mean some big conspiracy.

Maybe so or at least maybe he wants to go to a school that has football. Channel 3 is doing an interesting 3 part story this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during their 10 pm news on the attempts to bring back football at WSU. If it did ever come back it might help our baseball recruiting.

Joe Carter came to WSU on a football scholarhship, if we hadn't had football back then, we wouldn't have had one of the best Shocker baseball players ever.

With just 11.7 baseball scholarships, being able to recruit a couple guys a year that could play both sports could really help stretch the baseball scholarships.

Got a email from Brent Holman yesterday that Garrett Brummett and Seth Holman had combined to beat the Tulsa Drillers out of Owasa, Ok 3-2 at the Brett Brothers Wood Bat tournament in Lincoln. (my bad on this, it wasn't Bundy but the other guy from Owasa they beat.)

Brummett gave up three hits and walked three with two K's, in three innings while Holman went four innings giving up two earned, walking one and striking out two. His two runs came on the heals of his only walk, he gave up a home run in the top of the seventh.

I'm guessing Seth is maybe Brent's son? (or nephew). Are the Shocks looking at Seth for the Class of 2012? If nothing else he should be extremely well-schooled in the fundamentals and the art of pitching with the coaches he has in the family.
