  • Hottovy to the bigs

Tommy has been dealing lately since switching to a sidearm delivery. 1.67 ERA, with 28 K and 5 BB and a .168 opponent BA in 27 innings split between the AA Eastern League and, most recently, the AAA International League. His stats in 8 innings at AAA are actually stronger than the AA stats.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Tommy comes in the game in the sixth with 1 out and runs at first and second and get a double play ground ball and the sox's are in the dugout and Tommy is out of the game.
