Connor not having his best stuff at all. Death by paper cut with 2 walks, an infield single and a ground ball single and it's 4-1 and they're loaded for Provenzano who has done damage already this weekend. Can't think Connor is going to see more than this batter, which is probably 1 or 2 too many as it is.

Well that was a weak effort.

Pretty good job by Preston Minor mitigating the damage from Connor's 3rd inning collapse, coaxing a sac fly, hitting a batter and then getting a bases loaded strikeout to end the inning. 4-3 WSU to the 4th.

Looks like we may be in for another shootout.

Our hitters' approach so far this weekend has been refreshing, Esposito seems to be a solid upgrade based on (very) early returns.

I really like Sammy. And he seems to bleed smart baseball.

Shocks bunt in a run and it's 5-3. Execution thus far has been way above average.

Minor runs into trouble in the 4th and gets pulled after surrendering an RBI double. Clayton McGinness inherits a runner on 2nd with 1 out, Shocks clinging to a 5-4 lead.

Need Johnny Wholestaff to come through down the stretch.

Snavely does a good job working around the error and strands a couple Cowboys at the corners. Still 5-4 WSU to the 6th.

I'd be cool with it raining about 6 inches in the next 10 minutes and calling it a day. Doubt that's in the cards though.

It's gonna be ugly, but every goose-egg this bullpen can put up this season should be celebrated.
