Braves pick him up after two dominating starts in the Frontier League

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Good for him, was wondering why I couldn't find him in the cubs org anymore.

Reading the part about him winning 11 games as a freshman and 8 the next reminded me of what an awesome staff the 2007 and 2008 teams had.

why the hell did the cubs release him anyway? they gave up on a 2nd round pick way too early.

Because the Cubs are a poorly run organization.

I wondered this as well. It seemed he was producing and was having success.

I do realize that numbers often times don't mean that much in pro baseball, but still.

This reminds me of the OSU regional when I visited with Aaron's father for quite awhile during that last game. A more decent and honest man I have rarely met. For me, another great Shocker memory.

Anybody who has been a cubs fan the last 10 years knows for a fact that Jim Hendry and his front office has to be one of the absolute worst in baseball.

How he is still employed is beyond me.

Too many Omaha (and CU) good ol' boys running that organization.
