I'm sorry what does his defense have to do with getting a bunt down?

So you can go see the first inning where he popped up a bunt foul, because he was already on his way to first before making sure to get it down, then watched a strike go by while looking to bunt, then grounding into a double play right before back to back doubles.

Or are you simply referring to the other screwed up bunts? No doubt, but the 3 K's in about 10 pitches doesn't bode well either as a 2 hole hitter.
