    Shockers in Omaha

    I don't follow college baseball and really couldn't care less who wins this stupid tourney, but I always liked Shocker fans and their passion. As such, I'd like to meet up with some of the more fun Shocker fans that might be in town for the MVC tourney. Anyone that is in town and is interested, I'd be glad to buy a drink or two at a local watering hole.

    Anyone interested, PM me, let me know where you are staying and we can plan on meeting up somewhere close to where you are staying. You will be able to add yourself to the list of the lucky and select few that have met up with MVJ in person. We can talk smack in person and I'll even supply some Doritos and Bud Light. I reserve the right to horde all the Slim Jim's!!! :) :) :)
    There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

          Ouch!!!

          That said, no offense taken to the remark.

          I am not a Creighton alum, years ago I relocated to Omaha and as a sports fan, I went to a few Creighton basketball games. I am also an advocate for the little guy in sports. I have been following the Valley for years, but if there was a true connection that I would have to a school, it would be Drake. I have a sister that is a Drake grad, as well as, several cousins. Most played sports while there. Currently, my nephew and God Son is attending Drake. He plays for Drake, but out of respect for him and his privacy, I won't post his name or sport on this or any site.

          Two years ago, I began purchasing season tickets to Creighton basketball, but anyone that has attended a game with me knows that I hardly cheer as a Creighton fan, I don't even own any Creighton gear. That said, I attend several Husker basketball games a year and have Husker football season tickets- I hate the Huskers, but I love attending sporting events.

          Two of my sons do own Creighton gear, they caught tee shirts from the tee shirt gun. :clap: :clap:

                Really wish I could make the trip up north, but unfortunately won't be able to.

                You should at least honor the late great Randy Savage in some way MVJ, while snapping into those slim jims.
