Spot on, spot on.Deuces Valley.

Time to chop some trees. Maybe it's because they had no business winning the basketball tournament, or maybe it's just me being crazy, but they seem to have an arrogance about them, not befitting a 6th place team of a crappy athletic program.
We need to bury these guys and send them packing in about 5 hours.

I'm not going to count our chickens, but I like our chances of making the final. I'm hoping CU goes down to SIU to teach the Valley a lesson about trying these new locations for the Tourney. There's only one place that's going to make money and look good on TV...and it's not at CU with 20 fans in the stands.

Can you name a single tournament where the higher seed bats last in every game?
And why should a higher seed that gets sent to the loser's bracket and wins it get to bat last against a lower-seeded winner of the winner's bracket anyway?
If we want to make up ridiculous comparisons why don't we reward the higher seeds with getting to use the old aluminum bats?
Originally posted by CdizzleMaybe we should use a tee and make a rule that every player has to get to bat too, while we're at it. And as we're being fair, we should probably move the fence in 100 ft. so everyone has a chance to hit a home run.Shocker Nation, NYC

And the higher seed should be home because they earned the higher seed from a long regular season and that should be worth something.

He's got a 2.70 ERA -- but has only thrown 13.1 innings in 20 appearances. Opponents are hitting an even .300 against him but with only one extra base hit.
He's threw the final five meaningless pitches in a 5-2 loss to WSU last year, recording an out against the only batter he faced.“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”

sCUm prevails 5-0 to move them into the nightcap in front of surely will be 10,000 in the feature time slot on a beautiful night. No excuses now.
I hate rooting for MSU so I think I'll just watch as a neutral observer in that one. A sCUm win forces both to play tomorrow with no rest. An MSU win sends sCUm packing. Kind of a win/win or lose/lose.Deuces Valley.
