  • The game has started. It sounds like a pretty good sized crowd at the game.

Trevor Adams gets CU's first hit tonight. The CU announcers are wondering what state of mind that the Bears are going to be in tonight since they came into the series with a chance to win the conference and in less than 24 hours they are eliminated.

Adams picked off of first. 2 outs for CU now with nobody on.

    2 innings complete. No score.

The CU announcers put it this way. If CU wins all 3 games they finish in first. If they win 2 games they finish second. If they only win one game (did that last night) they finish in 3rd.

For the Bears it is 2nd if they win two, 3rd if they win one and 4th if they get swept.

      • Bluejays get their second hit of the game in the fourth. They have one on with one out in the bottom of the fourth. The score is still tied at 0.

        • Jays lead 1-0. The Jays runner got to second on a WP (only the second one of the year by Barber, the Bears pitcher) and came home to score on a single.

Jays have a runner on first, bottom of the 4th, two outs, CU leading 1-0.

          • Inning ends when the CU runner Jimmy Swift gets thrown out trying to steal 2nd.

After 4 complete, Bluejays lead 1-0.

            • Half way thru the game, Jays lead 1-0. On a side note I noticed that the Valley has moved up to 8th place in conference rpi (warren nolan):

              • 2-0 CU

MSU sucks bawls and how WSU lost 2 out of 3 to them is beyond me. Oh wait, I do know, it required a meltdown in the 8th I believe. I will have to go back and check.

                • Not looking good. Jays now up 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth. The Jays still have a runner on 3rd with just one out.

                    • They are having fireworks after the game. Makes me wonder if they didn't give away free tickets too.

One announcer is estimating the crowd at 7700, the other one is guessing it is 6300. Apparently this is some kind of contest the announcers have with each other to see who can come closest to esitmating the attendance.

Ty Blach gives up his first hit of the game in the 6th. Hopefully the Bears can bring him home.

                        • Jays run themselves out of the inning in the 6th. After 6 complete, Jays still lead 2-0.

Attendance announced at 8737. They said had 8100 for last night's game. I bet they are giving away free tickets.

                            • With MSU being out of it after a loss tonight and CU having a lot to lose I don't see MSU winning tomorrow either.
