Since when cant we go back before the 1980's. Just because you guys weren't born yet don't mean we didn't have some good basketball and football players then. If you dont think Jayson Perez belongs just as much as Jayson Adams something is wrong with you. There are numerous former shocker basketball and football players more worthy than him. I agree he made all american 1st team is senior year, however, his stats weren't hall of fame mention the other years he played.

IF your argument is based on Adams vs Perez, I can see your point, but I disagree. If you have a problem with Adams, I don't understand why you think an AA shouldn't be in the HOF. If you think there are athletes from pre-1980 who should be in before Adams, I would need to know specifically who you mean. The football team was a perennial loser. I know a lot of people think Elmore should be in. He was before my time, so I don't know about him, but I would not put him in instead of an AA.

Since 1993 of the 28 inductees 18 of them are baseball players. I believe other sports at WSU surely have someone deserving. Football players Miller Farr, Jumpy Geathers weren't too bad. Leonard Kelly in basketball. Coach Gene Smithson deserves to be in. I am only saying its time to take a break from the baseball players

The current induction classes are composed of those who have more recently become eligible after having completed their careers a prescribed time ago. Therefore it is mostly players from the 90's that are being considered because those are the ones becoming eligible.
If you think that there have been basketball players that have been snubbed (other than Perez, and I agree he should be in) bring them up, but even if there are some that have been overlooked, it should surprise no one that baseball, which has had more success than basketball with a larger roster, will have a lot of HOF inductees."Cotton scared me - I left him alone." - B4MSU (Bear Nation poster) in reference to heckling players

I am not saying that there are not others that should make the HOF, but to argue against these clear-cut AA-types seems a little ridiculous. This isn't the "nice guys that tried hard, and were better than some other people" award show.
