Lots of pissy fans in here tonight. Despite the Shox struggles this season, I still want them to win. Sometimes I wonder if everyone feels the same.

The fact of the matter is, the Shox survived the worst game of the season by their pitching ace who has been in virtual lock-down mode for weeks. The bullpen held the fort until the offense got cranked-up.

HR tonight from #2, #3, #4, & #5 batters. That's what their supposed to do, right? And all were legit, with the Coy and Springer bombs being absolutely crushed. The Shox had just enough offense to hold the game even through 8 innings against one of the really good pitchers in the league. They outlasted him and tagged his backup with an error-aided loss.

Sure, Bradley kicked the door wide open with the big error. Know what, the Shox walked right through it and stole the game from them. That is what we used to all call "Shocker Baseball". Turn up the heat with aggressive, hardnosed baseball and make teams panic. Bradley just made it easy for the Shox tonight.

The players deserve something good to happen for them, IMO. The offense has been improving somewhat the last couple of weeks. Springer, O'Brien, and Coy have been hitting the ball hard and driving in runs. Grimes continues to get on base and score runs. Green has been scorching hot, and Lambert and Davidson have been contributing in clutch situations.

Winning two on Friday is not going to be easy, but what has been easy this season? Go get 2, some how, some way.
