Man it was cold out there tonight. Thankfully the mighty Spartan scored the game winning run in the 9th.

Hard to believe Charlie Lowell pitched for the final time at Eck Stadium.

MSU came from behind to beat Bradley's 1 good pitcher. The sweep is all but assured now.

SIU took out ISUR.

CU and UE were tied when the rains came. They'll pick up where they left off tomorrow.

No change at the top. Big day tomorrow.

It was brutal but I've been to far worse.I really like the steal in the 9th to set up the win.We face a lefty tomorrow.Usually good news.

The steal in the 9th was a great call; everybody in the ballpark was looking for the bunt.

Neither team could get anything going against the other's pitcher. The only real threat vs. Lowell was middle innings when he was getting squeezed BADLY by the home plate umpire and InSt loaded the bases. It is rare to see a two way pitchers duel quite like that one in college baseball.

Hard to believe the difference in conditions between last weekend and tonight. The cold and wind howling in from the north made it a real pitchers night for sure.

Gotta love those walkoff hits. Lambert wanted no part of a dog pile. :D

Nice win for the Shox. Charlie pitched well. Elam came back after the ORU game with a strong performance. Cooney game through with a big base hit and steal in the ninth (2 hits in the game) and Donnie Baseball came through with the big timely hit (also his 2nd hit of the game).

Hopefully UE can pull out the win against CU. :wsu_posters:
