Their lack of competing at the plate so far against SIU's best pitcher doesn't give me the warm fuzzies for a comeback. 2 runs might be enough.

Tyler Coughenour gets a bad hop single, gets picked going 1st movement at first but SIU throws the ball into left field. Don Lambert hit a ball well to left which was caught. Tyler did do a good job going to 3rd on a ground out to short by Micah Green. Walker scores Tyler on swinging bunt.

Shocks did not exactly make a statement. OTOH whenever the bottom of our order produces a run that is a plus.

SIU tried to give the game to the shocks, but the Shocks didn't want it. Past Shockers teams would exploded once the door was open.
