Shox need a big effort from BFlynn tonight to get some momentum rolling. Two more wins would sew up a really nice road trip, time to take care of business and CUT OUT THE DANG WALKS.

I predict Chris O'Brien will get at least one RBI and Tyler Grimes will make me swear at the radio at least once. Anything else, the magic eight ball says 'reply hazy, try again'.

Random side note:

Creighton is pounding a decent Portland team 10-3 right in the 7th. The Bluejays are looking to advance to 18-5 on the season.

I am very glad we have them in Wichita this year, they look pretty darn solid. Although their RPI sucks (due to a weak schedule), their ISR is right there with us in the 40s.

Our MVC schedule this season sets up about as favorably as possible for once.

I finally crashed about an hour ago. How lame is that? Falling asleep at around 8:30 on a Friday night.. Am going on 30 or 60?

I hung on until the final pitch last night but was too tired to sit up on Shockernet to write about it. The ending was pissing me off just enough to stay awake. :whistle:

Really need these last two games to make it a good road trip. I think I'll make it pretty far after getting a nice little hour recharge.

I don't know if you call 9 and 12 as a decent Portland team but you are right, I am glad we get CU at home this year. Hard to judge how good they are at the moment with their 236 SOS, but it's a great rivalry in baseball and in a key year for us, we need to take them at home.
