  • The batters have packed it up since the 7th or 8th or whatever inning it was.

    • Kevin has to steal his way into scoring position here. If he get's thrown out so what.

        • You know Oregon would steal, delay steal, something, and would probably be successful

          • Kevin doesn't even try to steal and Springer singles. But at least we have a shot with our best hitter at the plate.

            Go Chris!

            • When did we lose our aggressiveness. Very disappointing.

                • What's not disappointing is Aaron LaBrie on a day when Shocker pitching otherwise struggled mightily. 14 up and 13 down (aided by a great play by Top Cat at 3rd on his first hitter).

                  :good:

                  • I like the hit-and-run to get JC into scoring position. That's more like it.

If we're going down, let's at least be aggressive.

No doubt, you have to do something, to get people moving around, and this late in the game, you never know when somebody might be asleep and you catch them. I guess it helps, however if you actually get people on base.

                        • After watching a third of the season I have to say I want the old bats back.

                          • Top of the order up for Oregon. Let's keep that lead-off hitter off base.

                            • After a double header and a marathon, you would think O'Brien would need a day off tomorrow.

                              • 2-0 count and you hit a dribbler to the pitcher. Seriously, how bout a little bit of a fight up there.

When I think mental toughness and field smarts I certainly don't think shocker baseball. At least not the last 2 and a half seasons.
