Sitting in a rainy Eugene, OR...

Schedule for the weekend has changed:
Doubleheader Friday starting at 5:00PM CDT.
    Single game Saturday 2:00PM CDT
    Single game Sunday 3:00PM CDT.

Whether the games actually get played as scheduled, we'll see. Friday weather forecast is better than Saturday, with rain all day.

Edit: I had the wrong time for Sunday.

Things are greening up here and lots of trees and bushes in bloom. Very pretty. It is still chilly, drizzly and foggy, though. It was nice and sunny last evening - not today.

          Shocks 1 - Ducks 1 after 5 complete.

Shocks gave the Ducks their run on the aforementioned throwing error and have hit into 3 DP's. However, they do seem to be competing pretty well against a very good pitcher.

Tyler with another bad throw, bouncing one to home with a runner on 3rd trying to score, gives the Ducks a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth.

Seriously when does he get moved? He gives up as many runs with his errors as he scores on offense.

Grimes is trying to make more errors at SS than he did last year and that's hard to do.

Can't he move to outfield and give parker or the other okie freshman a shot at SS?

Seriously his defense has cost some games.

Tyler was charged with an error on the throw past Walker that allowed the 1st run to score.

On the play at home the official scoring was fielder's choice as the out could not be assumed, although according to Mike and Shane a good throw would have had him by 10 feet.

That was Tyler's 10th error in 22 games. Last year he had a total of 14 errors in 59 games so he definitley needs to tighten things up.

Tyler is having a solid year getting on base.

No doubt, thats why I think they should give him a shot in the outfield. Getting on base and scoring runs doesn't help if you give them right back in the field.

Grimes gets to second with one out in the 8th but Springer and O'Brien unable to deliver him, although Preston came close.
