There's a widespread line of rain steaming toward Wichita. The rain looks light. Unless something changes, I'm guessing the 2PM start will be PPD at least for a while. Maybe play later today/this evening or what ??? I guess we'll see.

Losing 2-0 top of the 4th and being outhit badly.

Shocks trail 2-0 after 3.

Grimes lead off the bottom of the 1st with a double, but Kevin Hall's failure to advance him to third cost the Shocks a run. Note that Hall did bunt, but he was bunting for a hit and not a straight sacrifice.

Penn State teed off on Josh Smith pretty well in the bottom of the second for 2 runs on four solid hits. Could have been worse as the Shocks threw a runner out at the plate for the 2nd out and ended the inning on an infield line drive.

Penn State being very aggressive at the plate. The Shocks are 9 up and 9 down since Grimes lead off double.

Right now the all the momentum is in the Nittany Lion dugout. They are outhitting the Shocks 7 to 1 at this point.
