Yep. TK messed that up. Now he is on pace for only a 12-hit shut-out.

Actually, TK did a great job getting groundballs in the 1st two innings, he was just unlucky in that 4 of them found there way through the infield.

OTOH, two groundballs also were turned into inning ending DP's.

Good start to the series. Looks like it got kinda sloppy at times and we were given some gifts. Need to come out with better intensity tomorrow and hammer home another one.

Tim Kelley did a great job tonight. He made Penn State look really bad.

So whats the word on this season? I don't follow baseball very often. The only games I have ever been to at the Eck was the Irvine Super Regional. I went to the Long Beach State baseball game last year in Long Beach when I was in So Cal for spring break but tahts about all.

Call me a basketball only fan I guess.

LOL. Some of you guys either have a ball and chain around your leg, still live in your mom's basement, or are internet geeks who have nothing else better to do on a Friday night. I was over at a buds home with some friends, fishing before the game, eating pizza, watching the NCAA tournament and having a few libations to top the evening off.

Anyway homeboy, great start to the series. I look forward to sweeping these guys and moving on.
