    Really guys?

A loss must be kept in perspective. Losses to top 10 teams aren't losses to nobodys. Play enough good teams and some games will be lost..it is the way it is.

If my team (FSU) goes 2-2 next week, I'll be very happy. Playing Florida midweek and then @ Virginia for the weekend series. Do a couple of losses against top 10 teams make you a bad team? I don't think so.

Well you don't have the perspective we wsu fans have. If wsu doesn't have an almost perfect non-conference record then wsu will not get any NCAA love due to mvc being one of the worst baseball conferences in the nation.

Yeah SB...I see what you are saying. I don't look at RPI or SOS much.

I guess that you are right that if you have limited opportunities for the "good wins", that you need to win 'em.

Exactly SB. It's no different in basketball for us as well. We had our limited chances and did not take advantage of them (i.e. UCONN, SDSU, VCU) and see where it got us. An invite to the NIT and a bunch of disappointed fans. The same applies in baseball. The Valley does not help, so games this year against, Tulane, Arizona, Oregon and Hawaii to name a few are extremely important. Although some people on here don't think that way.
