Harbutz has what Gene termed a possibly pretty serious shoulder injury. They're waiting to get back to Wichita to have it fully checked out.

Solid 6-2 win by the Shocks over a decent Dallas Baptist team.

Holding them to 2 runs with an ump that had a consistently small strike zone is a good effort by Kelly, Flynn and Elam.

Two-out 2-run home run by Preston, two-out 2-run double by Johnny and a two-out rbi single by Josh.

Somehow, though, it does not make up for this afternoon.

Nice win to salvage the day a little.

Pretty complete performance. Coy, Springer 2 RBI each. Kelley, Flynn, Elam strike out 12 and allow only 5 hits. Flynn a little shaky with 4 BB in 3 IP.

Road trip finale vs UTA again at their place 1PM Sunday.

Didn't realize these guys already had wins over Oklahoma State and TCU this year. Also, we faced their ace tonight. Good win.

DBU has been kind of up an down. They have a few nice wins but Missouri State beat them 17-3 and they have lost twice to UT-Arlington.

Make you wonder about the depth of their pitching staff.

We really need to take care of business tomorrow against UTA and get a little revenge for Thursday's loss to them.

Sweet win. 9-1 is pretty good to start the year. Need to pay back UTA tomorrow and gear up for down south.
