1-2-3 fifth for Lowell. 9 K's thru 5 IP, somewhere around 62 pitches. Maybe they will send him out for one more.

Harbutz drives in 2 with a bases-loaded single, chasing the starter. 5-0 Shocks, bottom 5, 2 out, 2 on.

Shocks, attempting a 2 out rally, have the bases loaded after a single and 2 walks.

Erik Hartbutz brings home 2 for a 5-0 lead.

Way to hang tough Shox1989. Your a better man than me. I absolutely hate cold weather baseball. However, it didn't seem to bother Charlie Lowell too much.

2 wild pitches later it's 1st and 3rd and another run is across.

Bases loaded again for Davidson with 2 out.

Lowell almost certainly done with the long half inning.

                    Walker walks.

So far this year- Lambert 8 RBI, Davidson 7 RBI.

That's some pretty good pick me up at the bottom of the order.

New Fighting Sioux pitcher is in a tough spot.

Bases still loaded, 7-0 Shocks now.

There goes the no-no, I'm heading to the vehicle.

We look to have a helluva starting three again this year. A repeat of the '07 staff's numbers sure would be nice. :posterwsu:

You and Shox1989 have my admiration. 1989 must have been a good year for tough guys. Either that or you guys have a lot of anti-freeze in your bloodstream.

It sounded like most of our hard hit balls during the first 4 innings found Fighting Sioux gloves. Would that be accurate?

Another chisel nuts that braved the elements.

Find tougher college baseball fans anywhere, I dare you.

Yep, quite a few at 'em balls early on. I really love the way our guys at the bottom of the order work the counts so far this season. Bayliff, Lambert and Davidson are light years better than what we've had in the 7-8-9 spots the last two years.

Maybe they didn't want to overlap the basketball game.
Was't the forecast for the temp to make into the 40's this afternoon? The weather guys definitely missed that one.
