  • Shox v. ORU

Our baseball team is off to a great start. It seems too early to already being going on the road to face ORU.

After watching all 3 games this weekend (what beautiful weather), I am excited about the ORU game.

    I am predicting a 4-3 Shocker win!

I have a meeting in Tulsa on Wed. so I think I'm heading down tomorrow to see the game, then spend the night. Anything I should know about going to a game at ORU?

You'll be able to sit pretty much anywhere. Parking isn't an issue. My kids think they have the best hot dogs. A few of their students can be obnoxious at times. Typical ORU, they'll do some good family oriented promo's between innings. All in all, fun place to watch a game. Enjoy!

Looking forward to going. I don't know if I'll be able to post updates or not, but I'll take the laptop just in case. (I really need a cool phone that would let me get on shockernet).

Well don't show up early for an ORU home game. Still waiting on the ticket folks to show. :)

ORU's Chris Elder was a summer teammate of Mitch Caster. In honor of Mitch he is wearing #20 tonight (Mitch's uni number) in honor of his friend Mitch.

                      Very classy gesture.

                      :good:

                          Bottom 2nd

                          0-0

Davidson helps out the struggling ORU pitcher get out of bases loaded jam.

Missing chances here. Walkers check swing out was silly with as much trouble oru is having throwing strikes. Hall getting thrown out out on the bunt was surprising. Looked like a late jump for him. Getting plenty of pitches to look at. Kelly looks great.
