Is it ever to early to talk about the post season?

I don't think so.

The season hasn’t kicked off yet but it is time to start looking at how a potential 64 team bracket would look right now based on the preseason expectations of each conference. Remember, that these are just based on our projections and expectations for what we will predict come May 30th. We will release our new projection every Wednesday until the end of the season.

That is why I really hate the present regional format. I loved going to the 8 team regionals and seeing teams across the nation you usually didn't get to see. I would take that week off for vacation and watch all the games.

The old format was alot more exciting for the very reasons SB has stated. This can't be a very accurate list since the gayhawks weren't included. According to that hawk ballplayer that will remain anonymous weren't the gayhawks the dominant team in Kansas a couple of years ago?

Although these things are totally meaningless this time of the year, it is nice to be mentioned.
