    There probably is some truth to what he says especially about the look-at-me environment you see in AAU ball. But the playground basketball he decribes is primarily a big city/inner city thing. And while a lot of great players have come out of that environment not all of them have and not all of them who did are or were exactly team oriented players.

    On the other extreme are the country boys like Larry Bird, Ron Baker and Jimmy Chitwood, er I mean Austin Reaves who usually worked on their games in the backyard or on the driveway or in their local gym but somehow still developed oustanding BBIQ's and knowledge on how to play the game.

    One size certainly doesn't fit all.
