  • Does WSU have KU's undivided attention

After the KSU marching bands most recent stunt, I find it odd that the KU athletic department is silent.. Even after that botched court storming last year, Bill Self was really the only KU rep displaying dissatisfaction. It seems like the only 2 schools that are capable of seriously getting inside Ku's head is WSU and Missouri.

I've heard that KU filed a complaint with the BigXII league office over the halftime show.

It is my understanding that the administration argued that K-State depicted a "Starship Enterprise" doing bad things to a Jayhawk, but in reality, it should have been a WuShock (or really just about any MVC school for that matter) in order to be most accurate.

:) I cannot be held responsible for this post. It wasn't me, it was my intern...

I know it's been discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't find it. Has anyone heard any further info about KU's incoming freshman and his eligibility or lack thereof?

Cheick Diallo has not been ruled eligible - yet - by the NCAA. Tom the Dumba** a columnist in Beakerland wrote the following yesterday -

"In the event Diallo is declared eligible, Kansas immediately becomes a favorite to land one of the four No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. If Diallo isn’t allowed to play, Kansas has the option of filling some of those minutes by playing Bragg and Ellis together, an outstanding scoring combination, but the roster doesn’t have quite the same intensity and looks more like a No. 2 seed."

But in either scenario, they should still be a lock to lose in the first or second round. If they are a one seed, they should make the second round and lose there, but as a 2 seed, they will probably exit early. Hopefully they don't have to face another dreaded Valley team with or without the ineligible player they are attempting to get cleared.
