I don't know if I'd like a loop course or not? our club is putting on a loop 50k ultra up here on Halloween, I won't be running that one, just helping. Personally I enjoyed the point to point race of the Bighorns, no repeating and you basically had to finish or be rescued. I carried a GoPro and made a 6 minute video if you're interested in seeing it.

I have done the Telluride to Ouray trek but it was in a jeep. Great scenery and I have a video that my wife was shooting with the kids crying in the background as she was narrating that if we all died it was my fault since I wouldn't keep my eyes on the jeep trail, In my defense it was only raining a little and only a little slick.
