Tim Walton and the Florida Gators win their second consecutive championship tonight beating Michigan 4-1 in game 3 of the championship series. We should have given him a golden parachute.

Took a quick look at Walton's wiki page. Apparently, Gator country has little interest in national softball championships. Someone has gone in and updated the yearly tally (which each year shows the postseason), including this year, but in his bio under Coaching Career, they have not updated any of the info since the end of 2011. They're missing a couple of hundred wins and 2 National Championships, but did mention his team had made it to the championship finals in 2009 and 2011. Under Accomplishments and Honors he has regular and SEC tourney championships and a couple of SEC Coach of the Year awards, but only SEC accomplishments must count as his 7 CWS appearances, 2 runner-up finals and 2 national championships aren't good enough for that section.
