For anyone unfamiliar with it, footballoutsider.com's F/+ rankings are basically the football version of the KenPom rankings. They're a very well done advanced statistical measure of overall team quality, weighting opponent quality and so many other factors.
Here are the average F/+ rankings for every team in each FBS P5 conference:
SEC: 34.7
ACC: 37.8
PAC12: 43.1
B12: 48.1
B1G: 49.2
The B12 also had two of the three worst teams in any P5 conference. That's not a big deal ... except that the B12 only has 10 teams. 20% of the conference was absolutely terrible.
