Congrats to the Ramblers. It's 1st Volleyball title, but not it's 1st National Championship. I kind of hate to admit it but I remember when they won the 1963 NCAA Men's basketball national championship.
Edit: Actually, I'm kind of proud of myself that I can remember it, but I it's also a reminder that I am now pretty much officially an old fart.Last edited by 1972Shocker; May 4, 2014, 08:20 PM.

Give credit where credit is due. Kudos to Loyola, which is now the leader among current Valley teams in D-1 national championships, and beating a California team to win this one should count for something. NCAA men's volleyball is one of those somewhat esoteric, mostly regional sports (wrestling, lacrosse, hockey, volleyball, etc.), and it's impressive when a team outside the primary region manages to win.
Having said that, it's still time for WSU to get the heck out of the Valley, and it isn't because they can't compete with Loyola in volleyball.
