Possibly. But do 5 Freshman 5-star recruits want to go into Kentucky and play behind 5 Sophomore 5-star recruits?

All the 5-star players have to do is go to prep school for one year, then they'll have their freshman year at Kentucky or wherever and are done.

I don't see how this proposal doesn't become a reality soon. GMs would be in favor of getting more scouting on potential draft picks and college coaches would be in favor of keeping their players for an extra year. The 5 star recruits don't get a say and they never have. Most of them would benefit from an additional year in college anyway.
