OK I started this thread, named it and placed it here because I was sensitive to all the outpouring of thought as to where a thread should be placed and how appropriate the title of the thread should be. So I hope no one is offended but if you are just stop here and read no further. That goes for you too KW. Anyway it seems in sports that before a game of importance we see other schools come onto SN and are either pretty good about talking about their programs and then we have others that will do nothing but try and talk smack. Some on here think that it is only natural to talk smack but I was wondering if there are fans of programs from the past and or present that stand out to anyone that exhibit either topic and what makes them that way? The internet gives a person anonymity but I don't think it gives anyone the right to act like an ass especially if you represent a school.

10 years ago I would of said fans of other schools just use trash talk as a way to thumb their nose at WSU, but anymore it just seems like if they really don't know what to say about WSU because they just simply don't follow WSU sports at all, they use trash talk as a conversation starter of sorts.
