  • NCAA Football Playoffs

NFL playoff games are mostly all close, and the competitive intensity of NFL teams, actually pick up during the playoffs, which are a couple of weeks away. It produces great entertainment for FANS.

However, the NCAA football playoffs are a huge disappointment. The elite teams are wanting big payoffs, by making the case for huge numbers of people watching teams they don’t care about on the tube because of how good the Final 12 teams are. I have watched zero games, and So far, there have been zero close games.

NCAA Football = Zero Entertainment for fans of teams, not playing.

Maybe the NCAA will be saved by Gambling, but I don’t see it.

Arizona State gave it everything they had to pull off the upset today. For the most part though, you're spot on with the games being a bust.

I have always enjoyed bowl season. Many of the "meaningless" bowl games have actually been entertaining.

Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

In regards to your statement that you haven't watched any of the NCAAF Playoff games, you missed a great one between Texas and Arizona State, other than that it hasn't been close, as you stated as well. I was hoping for a better showing by Oregon, but we all know how that played out. I anticipate Georgia vs Notre Dame to be a close one, as does Vegas.

I guess having the extra week off didn't help.

It’s just amazing what happens when everyone can purchase players. The SEC isn’t so big and bad when everyone can do it. Kinda reminds you of KU hoops doesn’t it?

I’ve started saying this about March Madness. The first week is fun because there is basketball happening all day for 4 days. Once you get to Round of 16, it’s pretty boring if you don’t have a dog in the fight.

I probably watched 15 minutes total in the final 15 games last year.
