It's still ridiculous, but at the same time I understand conferences trying to keep up with others and getting more money to spread around the conference.

The XII is trying to do what they can to close the gap between the SEC and B1G and the AAC/MWC/CUSA are trying not only to keep up with each other, but do what they can to narrow the gap with the likes of the ACC/PAC.
