I saw this when I got home Saturday from work. He was on the field for quite some time before they finally got him loaded into the ambulance. I know there was a report shortly after he was taken off, by one of the sideline reporters, that he stopped breathing while on the field and they had to be revived. I pray this kid makes it through alright as he sounds like a quality person. Apparently he walked on at Tulane and turned down a number of scholarship offers to smaller schools and had recently earned a 'ship with the Green Wave. I also believe he was an excellent student in something like Cellular Biology or something along those lines.

I turned this game on 1 play before it happened, just by accident, looking for the K-State game. A tragic injury and sad to watch. The announcers were speechless and honestly I don't think they really knew how to react. Gotta pray there is some miracle that gets this young man through this.
