Considering conference tournaments have just started, this list is going to grow over the next two weeks. But these are currently all I'm aware of.

If the Shockers are looking for a new coach, we're competing with some of the above schools. Schools like Texas and Ole Miss have a lot of money to entice a quality coach their direction. The others we should have advantage over.

ESPN - Texas Tech's Mark Adams steps down as men's basketball coach

Texas Tech coach Mark Adams has stepped down from his position, the school announced Wednesday night, days after he was suspended for using what the school called an "inappropriate, unacceptable, and racially insensitive comment."

Adams didn't coach the Red Raiders in their Big 12 tournament loss to West Virginia on Wednesday, with assistant coach Corey Williams handling interim head coach duties.

"My lifelong goal was to help and be a positive influence on my players, and to be a part of the Texas Tech men's basketball team," Adams said in a prepared statement. "However, both the University and I believe this incident has become a distraction for the Texas Tech men's basketball team and the University, which I care about so deeply."

Wasn't Mark Fox a big deal at one time? He did a good job at Nevada. Had an up and down tenure at Georgia. Looks like his stint at Cal was pretty bad.

Seems like there was a time we floated his name as a possibility when Turgeon left. But that was a long time ago and I may be absolutely wrong about that.
