              Rumor has North Texas' Johnny Jones as a leading candidate and will be interviewed. IMO he is past due to an upgrade if he wants it.

                  The Jones rumor has been strong down here and he is the only one the AD has admitted interviewing. The usual list of candidates has been mentioned (Smart, Marshall!, Stevens) but LSU is scared if they do not get the right guy, they could fall off further quickly.

                  They are going to try to make a splash by going after Pastner or Prohm. Another favorite being mentioned now is Tubby Smith.
