At least with Kentucky, everyone knows it's tainted. KU does a much better job of hiding all the cheating that has gone on there for 50+ years. Three championships, three serious cases of cheating. And they act like everything they have done is as pure as the driven snow.

This is actually very true.

WSU gets caught cheating (although I wasn't around back then and I don't know much about the details.. perhaps someone here could inform me), gets punished hard and one of the best teams in the country in 82-83 doesn't get to play in the postseason. KU gets caught cheating, and they get rewarded with a home game against a much better Oklahoma team in the national championship (and only one year of probation).
