Spending most of the season with Coach Self, this doesn't surprise me one bit. Also, knowing Larry's propensity for fraternizing with coeds 1/3 his age, I suspect that could be a motivating factor as well. I suspect he's spent as much time helping Danny scout as he's spent at the Wheel this season.

One thing's for certain, Larry will continue to cheat his ass off no matter where he lands. And land he shall if he wants to coach again.
