Coach Jank has a pretty bare bones resume.

It seems to me that it is not easy to recruit to Manhatten.

From news reports, I am under the impression that AD Currie made the decision on Samuels, prior to consulting with the NCAA or Coach Martin.

          I believe FM's buyout is $1,000,000.

Probably afraid they would hit him up for some hush money!

                      Not cool at all.

Gotta seperate your issues with your boss from a group of kids that look to you as their mentor.

On the SC board they were saying that there is a clause in Frank's contract that says that if he met certain performance goals (which he did) and KSU didn't renegotiate his salary (which they didn't) the buyout would drop to $500,000.

He knew he was leaving towards the end of last week, I'm sure he has spoken to his players individually.

Looks to me like since they did not begin negotiations and had until June 1st that the $1,000,000 buyout was still in place.

By finishing tied for third in the Big 12 standings in 2010-11, he triggered a renegotiation clause, which was set to begin on Sunday. Had he chosen to begin talks on a new contract with Currie and not reached a new deal by June 1, his buyout to leave K-State would have dropped from $1 million to $500,000.

                              What a cawk.

Guess the AD was not successful in Cawk-blocking Martin.

Not even addressing the team is extremely low class, even if you had talked to some players privately. USC is a coaches graveyard so I doubt if we will hear much from him in the future unless it it is from the NCAA investigating what player he paid and how much.
